About

About

Expertly crafted songs and sublime musicianship are the backbone of Nashville-based band The Brook & The Bluff. Originally from Birmingham, AL, the band’s name is derived from the pockets of Birmingham where they grew up—Bluff Park for frontman Joseph Settine, and Mountain Brook for drummer John Canada, keyboardist Kevin Canada, and guitarist Alec Bolton.

Their latest release, Bluebeard, follows the success of their compelling debut First Place and sophomore album Yard Sale, which features the anthemic "Halfway Up" along with fan favorites "Everything Is Just A Mess," "Shelby," and "Misnomer." With Bluebeard, the band continues to captivate audiences, creating songs that resonate with fans across the world.

Building on their evolving sound, The Brook & The Bluff teamed up once more with longtime collaborator Micah Tawlks (Coin, Jake Wesley Rogers) to record their upcoming EP, This Could All Go Nowhere, featuring the new single "Bad Bad News," which showcases the band’s intricate harmonies and inventive arrangements. "Bad Bad News" adds a fresh dimension to their music, exploring fear and emotional paralysis, all wrapped in upbeat melodies.

The Brook & The Bluff's reputation for energetic live performances has built a strong foundation for their extensive touring history. After supporting Mt. Joy and Ashe in 2022 and headlining a 2023 tour with sold-out shows in major markets across the country, the band is poised for an even bigger year. In 2024, The Brook & The Bluff finished up a support run for Stephen Sanchez and Rainbow Kitten Surprise and released their EP This Could All Go Nowhere, setting the stage for an exciting new chapter.
